Creating
the Oasis of Tomorrow
The Suelo Resiliente Living Lab is a dynamic space for innovation, cooperation, and development, dedicated to imagining and creating a better tomorrow. We aim to foster collaboration and participation from everyone who seeks to build a better future in a world challenged by climate risks.

Our ambition stretches beyond mere sustenance; we aim to sculpt a new reality where generating energy, water, food, and self-sufficient living spaces doesn't just coexist with nature, but actively regenerates and restores the planet. This isn't just a dream, it's a strategic pursuit.
Blueprinting Regeneration:
We are fully committed to applying groundbreaking technologies to bring our vision to life: a regenerative corridor connecting the Pacific Ocean with the Sea of Cortez.
Cultivating Tomorrow:
We'll harness the best in renewable energy, potable water solutions, and regenerative agriculture. By forging alliances with diverse partners, we're building a collective intelligence to unearth the knowledge and data essential for future solutions.

The Lifeblood of Renewal: Water & Energy Solutions
Throughout history, human development has depended on our relationship with nature and our ability to access and care for its resources. Today, water and energy not only drive the growth of a region—they are the foundation for its regeneration and its future. We are living in a time when technology becomes an ally of life; we can now generate clean water and energy exactly where they are needed, without relying on large infrastructures or harming the environment.
• Local, Sustainable Generation
• Self-Sufficiency & Resilience
• Innovative Problem Solving
We harness the power of the sun and the wind to produce renewable energy, store it, and use it locally. We harvest water from the air without extracting it from aquifers, protecting natural sources and allowing ecosystems to thrive. This new way of inhabiting the land opens paths toward self-sufficiency, harmony, and resilience, bringing water and energy to the places where change begins to cultivate life, regenerate territories, and build—together with communities—a more just, abundant, and sustainable future.
Despite the abundance of natural resources, the region faces challenges like an electric grid operating at full capacity and a lack of energy storage. We will use a combination of technologies to maximize resource use and prioritize efficiency. We'll explore technologies ranging from desalination to atmospheric water harvesting, aiming to generate water without relying on existing systems, instead supporting their recovery.

Soil to Soul: Cultivating Abundance
Through regenerative agriculture, we aim to restore the local and ancestral ecosystems of the peninsula. This approach combines plant and animal species to help restore essential nutrients and bring back the land’s fertility. Thanks to the generation of water and energy, we can facilitate the interaction between plant species like yucca and mesquite trees and local fauna such as bighorn sheep, pumas, and jackrabbits.
• Strategic Location
• Baja’s Green Belt
• Phase 1 / Lot 8
Phase 1: Design and Prototyping
Ideas take shape through research, planning, and prototype development, refining concepts for viability.
Our Process: Cultivating Innovation, Step by Step
Phase 2: Building and Implementing
We move to active construction and deployment, implementing sustainable infrastructure and eco-conscious spaces efficiently.
Phase 3: Monitoring and Improving
We continuously observe, analyze, and refine our systems, optimizing solutions for long-term effectiveness and regeneration.
Bringing our vision to life requires a structured, iterative approach. We move through distinct phases, ensuring each step builds effectively toward our regenerative goals.
This marks the beginning of a regenerative transformation where nature will increasingly generate its own resources. We will apply best practices in regenerative agriculture and use technologies to monitor conditions and make informed decisions to achieve our goals.
Foundations of the Future:
Eco-Conscious Design
It is crucial to rethink how we inhabit ecosystems, aiming for minimal intervention and impact. Our architecture, materials, and technologies will create spaces that integrate harmoniously into the Baja California Peninsula's vast and beautiful landscape. From the design stage, we learn from our ancestors’ efficient methods of building in desert environments, combining these insights with modern sustainable architecture techniques. A modular construction system will minimize environmental impact while maximizing efficiency, safety, and quality, leading to standardized, self-sufficient buildings that meet the highest standards.
